Most everyone knows about the famous legal battle between smokers and the tobacco industry. The plaintiffs were awarded billions. Now, most sensible people see this, at least in part, as passing the buck, a few billion to be exact. But we don't need to get into the debate of responsibility here.
But, if you thought smokers were scapegoating then, take a look at a new lawsuit that claims the plaintiffs felt duped because "light" cigarettes weren't safer. Imagine that, there's no safe way to inhale smoke.
