Just like with life in general, when it comes to advertisements to trim your belly fat, if it sounds too good to be true it probably is.
The truth is that it takes a steady, disciplined approach over the long haul to have a trim waist line. Here are seven tips to help flatten your stomach:

1. Do at least 30-minutes of cardio three times a week to burn calories and help boost your metabolism, which will help you burn fat. Treadmills, jogging outside, elliptical machine and exercise bikes are excellent ways to get cardio workouts, but even walking briskly will help, too.
2. Follow a regular strength workout program and write down your results to help chart progress.
3. Do proper abdominal exercises at least three times a week. Exercise ball crunches and the plank are two of the best.
4. Include fiber in your diet and reduce the amount of bad carbs - foods like white bread, pastas and white rice should be limited. Eat brown rice and whole grain bread instead. Eat lots of fruits and vegetables.
5. Drink lots of water. People should consume 6-8 glasses of water per day. It will help fill you up so you eat less and also cleanse the body.
6. Don't eat late at night. This can make a big difference.
7. Eat 5-6 small meals during the day instead 2-3 big meals. Eating numerous small meals will actually help speed up your metabolism.

i m very insecure and self concious about my body and have recently gone from my happy weight of seven and a half stone to eight stone. i m a size eight all over with a back size of 32. but recently i have noticed that most of my weight has gone to my belly, and now i have this horrible podge, and have to wrestle my self in to most of my pants. it really makes me feel unattractive and low about my self, and i have now became shy with my body around my boyfriend of two years and hate him seeing me undressed, and hate it when he touches my tummy. does anybody know of simple exercises, diets, tips and tricks to get rid of this tummy flab and keep it away? i m desperate for some help : (

How to get thinner? And get rid of excess fat. ?

Okay, so I m almost fifteen, and I m 5 foot six or five foot Seven and maybe 118 pounds. I know this is almost thin, but I want to get thinner. Like, for some reason, my thighs and belly are pretty fat. My thighs have always been big, and I can t seem to get rid of the unsightly chub around my middle and waist and belly. I eat pretty well, and I m working on exercising more often for my new years resolution.

I know you can t spot treat fat, but I d like some tips on excersises I can do to thin out my thighs and flatten my stomach. I m really shy about my body, so I usually exercise in my basement.

Also, how long do you think getting rid of it will take?

Try taking up a new sport you enjoy and maybe can do with your friends.

However I really don t think you need to loose weight by the sounds of it, maybe you are just insicure about yoursef. If you eat well and exercise there is no reason for you to be unhealthy.
